Role summary / Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for cased hole logging services safely and independently at the clients' sites using appropriate methods, procedures, and techniques of TGT to ensure quality and cost-effective service is provided to each customer.
Essential responsibilities
Plan and prepare for well site operations and preparation of necessary documentation
Perform memory and wireline logging jobs on both offshore and onshore locations
Assure adherence to all safety regulations
Together with Operations Management, manage general TGT specific QHSE risks and promote respect, understanding and adherence to safety regulations
Operate memory logging tools (programming, downloading data, connecting, and running in hole)
Perform comprehensive quality control for recorded data
Conduct well site operations to the satisfaction of the customer at the well site
Understand and ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with the local laws and client requirements
Control quality of the service during all phases of the operation and ensure that all answer products delivered to the client are of the highest quality
Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to company equipment, tools, and practices to insure maximum operating efficiency
Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all logging operations
Maintain direct contact with customer’s representatives throughout the logging or operation; interpret common services in the assigned service area for customers
Maintain close contact with clients and Sales Engineers and assure awareness of clients proposed activity and needs
Prepare, draft, and complete all logs for printing on location or immediately upon return to office from job site, depending on company and customer requirements
Promptly and accurately submit all required reports and data
Control the quality and completeness of the jobs paperwork to ensure all invoices are billed in a timely and accurate manner
Manage the maintenance of all equipment in accordance with the maintenance manual and online systems. Ensure that all required modifications are implemented as per technical centre policy and local need
Ensure that the maintenance system data is correctly entered for every job and that failures, tool modifications, and periodic maintenance tasks are reported through the system and are accurate and complete
Support logging services objectives; participate in company and client activities
Plan operations with the Logging Engineers (pre-job briefing) and to provide them with all the necessary assistance to ensure that they deliver high quality service with the best economical and technical efficiency
Attend to his/her personal development and to keep him/herself well informed on the TGT’s techniques and management methods
Ensure compliance with the TGT code of conduct and HSE regulations at all times / Adherence to all safety regulations
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute or university, preferably in Engineering (Petroleum, Geology, Mechanical or Geoscience)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the oil industry as a Wireline Logging Engineer or more than 4 years in oil industry, preferably within the cased hole diagnostics, directly supporting manufacturing is preferred
Experience with Qatar energy LNG, QatarEnergy and NOC is plus
Knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures related to the equipment, tools, and methods of the company to ensure the efficiency of work execution
Demonstrate the knowledge of the full Data Interpretation cycle and Data Delivery
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead teams
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Preferably having a driving license (light vehicle)
Pass offshore/onshore medical tests
Willingness and ability to travel/relocate
